I've used this product twice now: once when the original coupling was terribly corroded, and this time, when a new hose had a coupling that insisted on leaking water. I'd have returned that faulty hose, only it was a component of a hose storage reel, and it took me awhile to identify the problem. This thing does exactly what I wanted: an easy repair to a vexing problem. Who could ask for more?

Works good no drips or leaks

Much sturdier than plastic type.

Tried to use it, and it leaks

male end didnt work to good had to use another clamp

Threads were not finished and I ended up throwing it away

Installation difficulty was as expected with hardest part being getting hose over sleeve. Metal instead of plastic so should last better than plastic competitors.

Great and easy replacement for broken female ends. Easy to install. Tight fit on the hose so heated to get a better fit.

It fixed the leak in the hose.

Not a good fit, but usable. Clamp does not complely close when using on a 3/4 inch hose. The male end of the mender would have been too small for a tight fit on a 1/2 inch hose. Otherwise it is working and no leaks if clamp is tighted as much as it can be.
