It really digs a hole and didn’t break.

The handle snapped off clean at the socket within a month. Meanwhile the $15 anvil cheap one I got 10 years ago is still going strong. Lesson learned.

I dig a lot of holes for a living. Being an archeologist i need the best equipment bc of the amount of wear and tear our equipment take. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a wonderful shovel and worth every penny it costs. The extended steel socket for the handle makes breakage less likely.

The handle is metal not wood. It has foot pads to help dig into soil easier. You get what you pay for. This is a keeper.

This has been the best for gardening and digging with the saw edge on this thing it cuts through my thought grass and clay like soil so much better than any other shovel

Do not but it for the warranty It is a Bogus lifetime warranty. It’s a sham. Sending all the required papers etc to the mfgr is nuts. Who keeps a shovel receipt for linger then the irs requires for taxes! Its a good shivel but you oay for a fake warsanty that homodepto doesnt get involved in.

Sturdy, and easier to use! Well worth the additional cost.

This bended on the first day

Used this one day, Was working great until I hit a rock digging and the tip is completely bent now and is no longer good to dig with.

Nice shovel, but a bit pricey for a basic shovel.
