Fast heating and cooking. Easy settings. The range down light could be a little brighter, but does have 2 settings and an eco feature to save electricity. We had some trouble installing it ourselves, finding the holes for the bolts, save yourself the headache and have someone professional install it for you.

It is a very basic microwave and has less features than our previous counter top microwave. Some features are useless, like the pizza, veggies, cook and reheat. You are better off just entering the time you want and pressing start rather than figuring out how to using those auto functions. As an example, reheat, 1 is for a dinner plate, and starts a 4 minute cycle. We never have a full plate, and 30 seconds to 1 minute is fine for us. Cons: Vent fan is very noisy, and although it is two speed, those speeds are almost the same. On slow speed, it does not pull enough to pull all the steam or air. If I am cooking on the front burner on the stove, I noticed that some steam goes up the front of the microwave. Under microwave light of unknown wattage is very dim at best. It illuminates the cooktop and is better than none. Pros: Durable, Easy to Clean, Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, Nice Design, Stylish. Recommend that you have it delivered and installed as you might not know what you are going to run into. We re-roofed a couple of years ago, and did not know some of the cedar shakes taken off, fell down the vend and held our old exhaust damper shut. The old vent was full of grease, which made a mess when we took it down. This was our first over the stove microwave, and we really enjoy its convenience.

    Love the eco-mode!
    Works great! Very even heat. The eco-mode is awesome! Would definitely recommend paying the delivery people to install. Was a little harder than we had thought it would be.

        Stopped heating,
        Died after 2 years. Bought an entire samsung kitchen, the clocks all ran at different speeds and then the microwave decided it didn't want to work anymore. Makes buzzing sound but time doesn't run and doesn't heat. very disappointed.

          Handle Broke Off Door
          I bought the microwave 2 years ago. It mostly works good, but the key pad is dark and could use a light. Then this morning the handle broke. It just busted away from the bottom plastic support. I don't know if they sell handles or even a new door, or is this trash and I have to replace it.

                    I bought this 2 years ago and unfortunately, it has stopped working. It had its good life, but the ventilation system could have been better. I will be forced to purchase another Samsung to match the rest of my appliances. I do hope this one last longer.

                          1.5 years old and barely used and started glitching and then stopped altogether. How can heating water and melting butter shorten the life of a microwave? I won’t be buying another Samsung product especially after I have read all the problems on social media.

                              Buttons don't work
                              The buttons quit working after about three years. It seems to be in the touch pad. Looked up the part and the panel is as expensive as a new microwave.

                                  Stopped heating less than 3 years after moving in.
                                  Purchased a new home in May 2020. This unit worked well from June 2020 until February 2023 - less than 3 years. While the manufacturer's warranty expired in Sept 2020, there is a 10year warranty on the magnetron - which seems to be the culprit. The unit gives off a loud buzzing noise during operation, but does not heat.

                                    I would give it a zero. In less than 30 days the turntable stopped working. I exchanged it. In less than 6 months the newer one stopped heating. Samsung sent a technician. He replaced several things. This morning it started sparking and quit.

                                      had for a bit more than a year and some of the buttons on panel stopped working. this included the enter/start button. now it doesn't work at all because of this. only has a 1yr warranty so i have to buy new one. i will not buy samsung appliances again.

The microwave requires a separate branch circuit single grounded outlet of at least 15A and a max of 20A. A 120 VAC, 60 Hz. If your microwave is not working or has stopped working, there could be a few reasons. A microwave that is not starting or heating is usually in Demo mode. It is commonly used in retail showrooms to demonstrate microwaves without activating their magnetrons.                                                       I got the dreaded SE error code after only a couple of years. I found many online tutorials on how to fix this and unfortunately none worked. I took the entire microwave apart, cleaned all parts and made it feel almost if as new. Assuming the motherboard went bad. I had a Samsung dryer go bad a little after a year and the matching washer is giving me major problems as well so safe to say that I am done with all Samsung electronics. I am 0-3 with different Samsung products.
