Did Not Last
I purchase this Microwave Oven on 04/18/2020 and just lasted less than 2 years. On 01/04/22 the microwave stopped working and it pop out my light breaker and it smells like something is burning. Now it turns on but it wont heat or fan won’t work. Not a good product at all very very disappointed about this from SAMSUNG

        Poor quality
        Worked great at first but after a few months the plastic hook inside the door holding the spring to the latch broke. Microwave door now won’t close or operate. I have to replace the entire door now which is costs almost as much as the microwave did.

            Turns on by itself - will not turn off
            it runs automatically, but it will not heat anything. if you open the door, it will stop working and the other functions (fan, oven/stove lights, clock) work, but the microwave itself will not.

              it worked fine for 2 years. then as soon as the warrenty is gone is has completely stopped. i have all samsung appliances in my kitchen and they have all broken wothin 2 years. buy a different brand.

                No longer heats.
                We bought this microwave 2 years ago and hardly use it. It just recently it stopped heating up. Everything else works but no heat. An internet search finds this is not uncommon. I have called some appliance repair shops but the house call is near as much as the microwave. I tried Samsung support and they could not even get me to the right department. As of now I will steer clear of Samsung in the future.

                    it turns on by itself. Often when i shout the door it will just turn on and start running. Had it repaired it still does the same thing. Even if there is no time left on the microwave it will just turn on by itself. Very dangerous, it is unplugged now, very poor quality price was great but that must be why.

                                i didn’t need a fancy m/w so this one fit the bill—an exhaust fan over my range, something in which to make popcorn, steam veggies and melt butter. installed yesterday by my contractor, tried it out, seemed ok and the next day it started not heating things up. unless i stand there and hold the door closed. i’ll be calling tech support, but i really thought i could get a couple years of use, not a couple of days.

                                  we bought this microwave to match our range less than two years ago. it worked fine for a while until a month ago or so a key to turn on fan stopped working. after two weeks most of the keys from 0 (zero) and below also stopped working so the device is now useless. i was able to identify parts numbers and tried samsungparts.com only to find that parts are either not available or not found. so the first problem is that this unit failed in less than two years. our previous over the range microwave was more than 20 years old and was replaced because we wanted a new look and, unfortunately, we selected samsung. the second problem is that the parts to fix it are no longer available. i guess samsung may be good with pure electronics but not with appliances.
