[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock and installed it and have been using it for about a week now. Pros: Overall the look is clean, and the interface is fairly straightforward. The multiple options for entry (Phone, finger, passcode, key) are great. Cons: The drilling template provided is not perfect. Be sure to compare the hole location on the actual hardware vs the proceed template. Be sure you have a drill set that can be sure to go square through the door for the extra security screw or you’ll end with multiple holes in your door. It still uses a bridge. Come on…include that within the lock body like it is in your other products. It struggles (and struggles hard) to recognize my thumbs on the fingerprint reader. My other fingers are so-so, but no matter how many times I add and re-add my thumbprint, it can’t seem to recognize it. Maybe my fingers are too fat, because it seems to work fine for my wife. For this reason it drops from 5 stars to 3 stars. I don’t want to be locked out or required to use the passcode because the lock can’t figure out my thumb. Finally, you can only register 2 fingerprints per user. It would be good to have at least 4. I had to set myself as 2 different users so I can register my thumbs and my index fingers.

Stopped working with in 6 months. Lock looks good but operates poorly. Another con is you can only keep door unlocked if you need to through app there's no toggle to keep door unlocked from inside

Nothing against the items. It was to big length wise for my door! I would have loved to use it

Everything works but the fingerprint. App has fingerprint registered but when I use it on the lock it doesn't work, keeps saying failure

I wish I could have installed this lock on my door. The manufacturers must not have considered the standard distance between the handset and deadbolt on most doors. Unfortunately, the height of this lock interfered with the deadbolt on my door and I was unable to fit it for my application without it looking ridiculous by placing the deadbolt below.

Installed fairly easily. Had a hiccup on the first attempt to link my phone and had to uninstall and start over but had success on the second attempt. You do have to be pretty close to the door to use the phone control. I was under the impression that my watch would unlock the door hands free but haven't been able to do that yet. There is a plug in Wifi bridge that allows you to operate the lock from anywhere but I haven't convinced myself that it is worth the $50 yet. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I bet its sitting on a ship off the west coast. I hate to install the bright nickel then find out i could gave gotten one i want….but no estimate on when it will be back in stock.

Anything below 0°F the fingerprint scanner does not work.

easy to install, works great with an entrance code, could not get the fingerprints to register.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the Ubolt, so I ordered one of these for my garage door access. Unlike the Ubolt, there is no manual way to unlock the door from the inside. For example, in normal mode the door locks and remains locked even if you open the door from the inside. This means you are locked from going back in. There's also no timeout for autolock greater than 5 minutes. I work in my garage a lot and this always locks me out. The only way to disable this is to manually set the lock to passage mode. At the very least, there should be a setting that unlocks the door if you open it from the inside while in normal mode for a time period.

Hi It’s good but I wish if this option was available in U-tec App I would rate Excellent I would like if possible App developers can do this that when I set my door lock to passenger mode I get also and option to ask me how long do I need this door to be in passenger mode because sometimes you keep it on passenger mode And you forget to return it back to normal mode and it’s dangerous sometimes I wish if the App developers can do something about this issue and develop the App to have this option in because I feel this option is important for lot’s of people Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touchpad and app work fine for access. The fingerprint sensor works poorly, recognizing my finger about 50% of the time. Having used both physical buttons and a touchscreen on exterior door locks, I prefer physical buttons. All in all, I recommend this lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rekeying lock was a pain. Battery’s wear out quick. But lock seems strong and solid built very well. Fingerprint works most days. Would I buy it again yes but hopefully they are making improvements to door lock.

It's a nice improvement from the original version as it'll still unlock even if you open the door handle to fast. Finger print reader is works great but still a problem for those have sweaty palms. Other than that I thoroughly enjoy having this set up for my house.

Works great! Allows multiple users to be saved and easy to install. Only thing that it’s Bluetooth so I can only change when I’m nearby

I would not recommend this lock. I installed it 6/25/21 and it started failing 7/6/21. I've had nothing but trouble. The fingerprint reader seldom works and the lock continually fails to activate. If I wanted to use a key all the time I would have bought a plain old lock. I'm still working with Ultraloq to get a replacement lock, but so far no luck.

This is an awesome door lock for us. We placed this lock on the garage into house door. Cons: Wish Home Depot would have offered the optional WiFi bridge. The fingerprint reader takes about one second to recognize and unlock.

Easy to install. Works good.

Hard to use with finger print.

Was easy to install both on door and the app on phone. Everyone I wanted to have the ability to get into my home is scanned. We all LOVE this door handle. Walk up scan your finger and your into the house. So much easier then fumbling for keys. Am planning on purchasing more for my mother's n memaws homes.
