Questions and Answers for BIOADVANCED 10 lbs. Granules Fungus Control for Lawns

A:  There is no best time to apply. It can be applied anytime as long as the temperatures are between 50-90 degrees at the time of application and until the application is dry. It should be applied once every 30 days to prevent fungus and every 14 days for a curative if you have an issue of fungus. Depending on the severity it may take multiple applications and there is no guarantee how many it will take. The lawn may look worse before it gets better as it draws the fungus to the surface. It is also best to address things that will cause the fungus in the first place such as high moisture, shade and cutting the lawn too short just to name a few. James

A:  We only recommend applying our granular products with a push drop or push broadcast spreader. We unfortunately could not recommend applying the product by hand or by another method without using a spreader. -Madison

A:  Hi, Robert. When using BioAdvanced Fungus Control For Lawns, the granules should be thoroughly watered in within 24 hours of spreading. After the treated area has dried, you may resume your preferred watering schedule. -Madison

A:  BioAdvanced Fungus Control For Lawns granules are designed to be spread across the lawn dry and thoroughly watered in. Our Ready To Spray version is EPA regulated for one time use out of the container provided. We unfortunately do not have a mixing ratio for use in another sprayer. -Madison

A:  The Fungus Control For Lawns 10lb. bag will cover 5000 square feet. James

A:  The Fungus Control for lawns does not kill mushrooms. James

A:  Absolutely not. It is so effective especially if you have diseases including brown patch, stem & stripe rust, red thread, powdery mildew, necrotic ring spot, and pink patch.Just water the grass after application.

A:  BioAdvanced Fungus Control For Lawns is safe for use on any grass type. We do recommend avoiding applications when temperatures are exceeding 85 degrees. -Madison

A:  Hi , Dwight. Our products have not been tested when used in combination with other fungicides. When treating an active fungus, we recommend applying BioAdvanced Fungus Control For Lawns once every 2 weeks until control is achieved. -Madison

A:  It does not. The Fungus Control for Lawns product will only eliminate or prevent listed lawn fungus. Mushrooms are a healthy part of any lawn usually caused by decaying organic materials beneath the soil. We do not currently have a product on our line at this time that is designed to eliminate mushrooms. Jessica

A:  This product is granular it won’t work on shrubs.  Spray your plant with neem oil solution, very effective on brown spot. 

A:  Hello Lynn! The Fungus Control for Lawns is only for use on lawns to control label listed lawn diseases. For brown spot on your shrubs we would recommend applying our 3 in 1 Insect, Disease, & Mite Control spray. You may apply every 7-14 days as needed for elimination. Jessica
