cheap plastic inner valve
Out of the 5 pack, threw 2 away before giving up - inside valve ball fails soon as water is turned on

This valve is great. I love compression valves as I don’t need to solder it. Just remove the old valve, cut and clean the copper pipe and attached this valve. Few rotations with the wrench and the job is done.

All of my original shutoff valves failed, either froze or broke off … when needed.
They were replaced with Brasscraft shutoff valve and never had a single failure Brasscraft valve.

Works great as a replacement for my old valves that required multiple turns to shut off. The 1/4 turn valve works better at completely shutting off the water, and tends to last longer.

The compresion input 1/2 output 3/8 in works well. Note: there are several varieties of this type shut off valve. Make sure you have the right one. Otherwise good product.
